It is with sadness, we announce the passing of Essie Scott of Cobden, who passed away peacefully in Caressant Care Nursing and Retirement Home Cobden, on Sunday January 14, 2018 in her 93rd year. Essie Scott nee Francis beloved wife of the late Wm. Bill Scott. Dear mother of Mac (Joan) Scott, Murray Scott, Gilbert (Marian) Scott and Joan Scott. Also survived by 5 grandchildren Graham (Joanne), Ian, Barbara Ann (Mike), Jason (Natasha), Matthew and 5 great-grandchildren Cameron, Keegan, Rory, Corbin, Jessica and 1 sister Rachel Felske. Predeceased by a grandson Garth. Friends may call at the Fraser – Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, Friday January 19, 2018 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. And Saturday from 9:30 until service time in the chapel at 11am. Spring interment Douglas Public Cemetery, Douglas Ontario. As expressions of sympathy donations to Douglas Public Cemetery Fund, or Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
