Of Pembroke, passed away peacefully in the Pembroke Regional Hospital surrounded by his family on Monday October 1, 2012 in his 84th year. Elymas Maves beloved husband of the late Celia (Dolly) Maves née Crabtree. Dear father of David (Julia) Maves of Cobden, and Nancy Maves of Pembroke. Special grandfather of Lawrence (Larry) Maves of Calgary Alberta. Also survived by one sister Valoyes MacAdam of Red Deer, Alberta and one brother Ralph Maves of Pembroke and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Wesley Community Church. By his request there will be no Funeral Service. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Samaritan’s Purse would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the care of the Fraser-Morris & Heubner Funeral Home, Cobden.
