From all of us in Calgary, from our hearts to all of yours - we extend our deep sympathy on Rita's passing. Gosh, that whole generation is gone now....so sad. May your memories make you smile and cherish the good times. I am so thankful we got to visit with Rita in 2013.

So sorry to hear about your mom. She was a lovely lady and I enjoyed my visits with her in Havelock and at her long term care home. Both your parents were great friends of my parents when they both had growing families in Cobden. Our moms continued this friendship after our dads passed and I know she will be missed but not forgotten.Treasure the memories as she was so proud of her family. My thoughts and prayers are with you on this sad day.

My deepest sympathy to all of you. I was very sorry to hear this sad news. Reta was a good friend to many and had a sharp wit and sense of humour I will always remember. Although I can't be there today my thoughts are with you all at this difficult time. She was always a part of my life growing up and those good memories will always be with me. I keep reading your Mom,s obit. Just can,t believe she is gone. We have so many Good memories of her our friend beautiful kind friend. We missed her so much after she left Cobden. I never turn that corner at John St. That we don,t bring up something about the good times there. See you all Friday.
