I am sad to learn of Mary's passing. I will always remember visiting her each year beside the school, and with my Mum picking Gooseberries, as well as other seasonal fruit and veggies in her yard for my mum to make into jams etc. Many fond memories of this lady and her cats. Forever loved.

To the family of Mary Scobie McLaughlin With sincere sympathy, and wishing you peace and comfort of warm memories.
Mary was a very valuable member of my Aunt & Uncle's--- Donald & Helen [McKibbon] Mckercher's home for many years.
She was also a wonderful "baby nurse" to my cousin Peter in so many ways
throughout his young life. When visiting the Mckerchers in Cobden, I looked forward to stopping by at Mary's home to say hello, and she always made me feel welcome. Mary lived in my great grandparents [Robert & Mary McKibbon's home
on Cowley Street, and that too was very special to me. Wonderful memories!

At 102 years, this amazing lady has lived life, for the most part, on her terms. And may God bless her for it. Her loss will be felt keenly by you all as she was an integral part of all your lives.
