Patty, Stephen and family: I was so sorry to hear of Aunt Joanne's passing. Our families did not always get to spend a lot of time together. However during the times that we did spend together I always found Aunt Joanne to be very warm welcoming and loving lady. I have fond memories of these times. I feel so fortunate that she was my Aunt. My thoughts are with you all during this difficult time.

I only got to know Joanne in the last 2,5 years, when I came to be employed by her & Patty, and I can tell you I have never known a more caring, beautiful person. Right from the start she made me feel like I was part of the family. A kiss was always her way of saying hello or good-bye to me, she would hold your face in her hands and kiss you on the lips. She always made sure you knew that she appreciated all your hard work. I will greatly miss her, but she will always be in my heart...

Joann was a wonderful woman I will never forget. She employed me at a young age and showed a lot of confidence in my work as a young cook and I worked for for many years. I moved on to be a successful chef, and I owe this to Joann. I always looked up to Joann, I think it's safe to say everybody did. I remember when she showed up to my wedding, I felt so honoured to see her there.
