Poem for Deb:
God saw you getting tired,
and a cure was not to be
so he put his arms around you

From our family to Wayne and family: We are very saddened by the passing of Debbie, and want to let you know you are all in our prayers during this very difficult time. Knowing that she is now pain free and able to freely move, run, dance and smile fully, helps make this transition a little easier for the ones left behind.

From me to Debbie: Debbie, I know you can hear and feel my message somehow. I miss you! And I feel blessed to have had the honor to meet you and your family. You are so very missed by many who’ve you touched their hearts. I will cherish the moments we had together. Yours and Wayne’s hospitality and friendship. And the precious memory of seeing you laugh at Pippa’s antics! When I think of you, I can’t help but see you happy and smiling. Even though I know at times it must have been terribly hard, you still managed to imprint in our hearts your beautiful smile. My heart aches. But I know you are not far. Wayne really knew who to choose to share his life with! And so did you! I have never seen anywhere else the amazing and dedicated support for one another and the love you two shared. Keep smiling from up above. You were one fantastic human being and you are now one amazing, amazing spirit!

I am very saddened to hear of the passing of Debbie. I went through school with Debbie in Ottawa and while there were 5 of us Debbies in one class we shared a link in that our names were the exact same Deborah Ann. I have so many many memories of Debbie and I can still hear her voice. So sad that like many others over the years we lost contact. Growing up we had a cottage on Muskrat lake and that was another thing we had in common. I know how much she loved the area and was happy that she found love and a life there. I know you will all miss her very much but she has no pain now. My heartfelt condolences to each and everyone of you. I do not think I will be able to attend but I will be there in spirit. Godspeed Deb!
