WILLIAM   HUBERT  MCLAUGHLIN

It is with sadness we announce the passing of William (Bill) McLaughlin, who  passed away peacefully at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the age of 88 years. Bill McLaughlin beloved husband of Evelyn (nee Beattie) and by first marriage to the late Marian Leeck. Dearly loved father of Brenda McLaughlin-Hamilton, and stepfather of Betty Lou Campbell and Vera Lynn Campbell (Kevin Powell). Also survived by grandchildren Tiffany, Sheena, Ryan, James, Thomas, Lucas, Alexandra and Gage, and cherished brother of Erma (late Roger Nesseth), Iva (Brian Jahn), and Minerva (Ervin Crawford). Also survived by sisters-in-law Elaine, Gwen, and Connie McLaughlin.  Sadly missed by many relatives and friends.  Predeceased by his son and daughter Delmer and Colleen McLaughlin, his parents Hugh Calvin and Ethel Louise McLaughlin (nee Eady), brothers Murray, Harvey, Victor, Rodney, Bert, Gerald, Calvin, and sisters Doreen (late Wally Fleugel) and Eleanor Moyles.  Friends may call at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, on Friday, October 27, 2023 from  2 - 4pm and 7 - 9pm. Service in Chapel Saturday at 11am.  Interment Cobden Union Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy donations to the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation 499 Raglan St. N., Renfrew, Ontario  K7V 1P6  would be appreciated.
