WILHELMINA  BAKHUYZEN

It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Wilhelmina Bakhuyzen, who entered into the presence of the Lord, on Thursday October 6, 2022 at the Elizabeth Bruyere Hospital Ottawa, at the age of  90 years. Wilhelmina Bakhuyzen nee Chattillon beloved wife of the late Simon Bakhuyzen. Dear mother of Willempje Bakhuyzen (Cheyne Findlay), Diane (late Bert) Denhartigh, Rick (Sandy) Bakhuyzen, Tim (Betty) Bakhuyzen, Simona (Don Marcellus). Also survived by 21 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Simon (2004), daughter Angel (2018), son Simon (2013) and daughter Alice (1956).   Friends may call at the  Fraser-Morris & Heubner Funeral Home Cobden,  on Tuesday October 11, 2022 from 2 – 5 pm. and on Wednesday from noon until 1:00pm. Thence to the Whitewater Wesleyan Community Church Cobden, for service at 1:30pm.  Interment Pioneer Cemetery Osceola Ontario. As expressions of sympathy donations to Whitewater Wesleyan Community Church or the Ottawa Heart Institute  would be greatly appreciated.
