WAYNE  OVERTON

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Wayne Overton of Haley Station who passed away at his residence on Tuesday January  19, 2021 in his 74th year.  Wayne Overton beloved husband and best friend of Sheila Overton nee Mohr. Dear father of Troy (Amy) Overton, Tanya (Barry Hill), Lindsay (Scott Power), Taylor Hawkins (Jeremy Schroeder). Also survived by 3 precious granddaughters Erin, Avery, Leni and siblings Keith (Sheila) Overton, Lynn Hutchinson (Fred), Judy (Willard Proulx), Bonnie (Ronnie Church), Susan (Mike Grabiec), Barry (Sandra) Mohr, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces , nephews.  Predeceased by his parents Robert and Myrtle Overton nee Draper, brothers-in-law Ron Hutchinson,  Bruce Mohr and sister Sandra Holly (Jim).   Wayne was a City of Ottawa (Mechanic) for 27 years, and a proud Co founder, owner of Mohr Over Kennel’s at Haley Station.   A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden.
