TERRY PETER O’GORMAN

The family of Terry O’Gorman sadly announce his passing in his 96 th year. Predeceased by his wife Margaret (Redmond). Father of John (Sandra); Michael; Tom (Sherry). Grandfather of Nicole Palubeskie (Erek); Nathian O’Gorman (Trish McGowan); Brady O’Gorman (Julia McIntyre); Kayla O’Gorman (Cedric Niyonkuru); Hilary Panke (Riley) Hannah O’Gorman (Matt Brotton). Great grandfather to six. Very special uncle to Elizabeth, Eileen and Susan. Fondly remembered by Fraser,  Kyle Agnew and  families, Ben, Ellaa and Abby. Terry was predeceased by his parents Peter and Irene (Ryan); brother Tom (late Patricia), sister Barbara and his only cousin Katharine Kane. He is survived by Kevin (Kay); Patricia Neville (late Terry); Joan Scott (late Walter); Barry (late Diane); and Brian (Joanne). Uncle to many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews. Terry put his heart and soul into Bromleyview Farms. He was proud of his farm and his Holstein cows. It was important to him to spend his final years in the house he grew up in and it is a comfort to the family that he was able to accomplish that. Terry contributed to many community and agricultural organizations including the Cobden Agricultural Society, Eastern Breeders Inc. and 4-H. He was a member of the Renfrew County Agricultural Wall of Fame.
Friends may call at the Fraser-Morris & Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, on Sunday March 1, 2026 from 2-4 and 7-9pm and on Monday March 2, 2026 from 9am until 10:15am. Thence to St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church Douglas for Mass Of Christian Burial at 11am. Spring interment St. Michael’s Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cobden Agricultural Society or the Ruth Cull Endowment Fund for CHEO’s Therapeutic Clown.
