RUTH EMILY REMUS
It is with sadness, we announce the passing of Ruth Remus , of Cobden, who passed away peacefully in Caressant Care LTC Cobden on Monday December 29, 2025 at the age of 102 years. Ruth Remus nee Bandy beloved wife of the late Lester Remus. Dear mother of Wayne (Maureen) Remus and Kathy (Richard Hook). Loving grandma to Lawrence (Lacey) Remus, Anthony ( Mei-yee) Remus. Also survived by great-grandchildren Daniel, Braedon, Kole, Athena and great-great-grandchildren River and Emerson. Predeceased by 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Friends may call at the Fraser-Morris & Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, Friday January 2, 2026 from 2 –6 pm and on Saturday from 9:30 until 11am. When the service will be held in the chapel at 11am. Spring interment Cobden Union Cemetery As expressions of sympathy donations to the Cobden Food Bank would be appreciated.
