Robert Arthur Wallace

ROBERT  ARTHUR  WALLACE    ( August 15, 1947  -  June  25, 2021 )

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Wallace of Cobden, who passed away peacefully in Hospice Renfrew, on Friday June 25, 2021 in his 74th year, after a lengthy battle with liver disease, with his wife by his side. Robert (Bob) Wallace beloved husband of Brenda Wallace nee Hanneman. Loving  father to Noel Wallace and Andrea (Chris) Figgures. Devoted step-father to Scott (Mandi) Hodgins and Stephani Hodgins (Nick) Kennedy. Robert was a loving grandfather to Ashley, Briana, Kendra, Mia, Nicole and Nicholas.  He is also survived by his brother Don (Cathy) Wallace and sister Lynda (David) Martyn and several nieces and a nephew and great nieces and great nephews.  

Predeceased by his son R. Brett Wallace and parents George and Bertha Wallace nee Saari. Robert is lovingly remembered by his chosen family, The Humphries. A special thankyou to Doctors and Staff at the Ottawa Hospital Group and Renfrew Victoria Hospital. We are most greatful to everyone at Hospice Renfrew for keeping him comfortable in his final days. A special thankyou to Jessie and Virginia from Bayshore Home Care Solutions for their dedicated care and compassion.

As per Roberts wishes cremation will take place and a private family graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to The Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation or Hospice Renfrew would be appreciated.

DUE TO THE CURRENT RESTRICTIONS OF COVID-19 MANDATES, A LIMITED NUMBER OF PEOPLE, ARE PERMITTED IN THE FUNERAL HOME  AT ANY GIVEN TIME.  FACEMASKS / COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED IN THE FUNERAL HOME, FOR THE VISITATION / FUNERAL AND ALSO AT THE GRAVESIDE CEMETERY SERVICE.
