WOOD  RICHARD  CECIL

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Dick Wood of Cobden who passed away peacefully at Country Haven Retirement Residence, Beachburg on  Friday March 8, 2019 at the age of 88 years. Dick Wood beloved husband of the late H. Elizabeth (Betty) Wood nee Ross (2006). Predeceased by his parents Cecil and Louise (Cavanaugh) Wood. Dear father of Doug (Colleen) Wood, Jim (Debbie) Wood, and Robert (Doreen) Wood.  Grandpa to 7 grandchildren,  Allison (Steve), Cheryl (Jeff), Tracey (Joe), Melissa, Jessica, Jordan, Adam and 6 great-grandchildren Robert (Bree), Alexis, Emma, Sofia, Alexander, Zachary and 1 great-great-grandson R. J.  Also survived by his sister-in-law Eileen ( late Bill) Hugli.  Friends may call at the Fraser – Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, on Sunday March 17, 2019 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. and Monday from noon until 1:15pm. Thence to St. Andrews United Church Beachburg for service at 2 pm. Spring interment Howard Cemetery Foresters Falls.  As expressions of sympathy donations to Trinity United Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated.
