MURRAY  EDWARD  SLY

It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Murray Sly in the presence of his family in Bonnechere Manor on Saturday January 4, 2025 at the age of 91 years.  Murray Sly of Renfrew and formerly of Cobden, beloved husband of Shirley Sly nee Somerville. Dear father of Nancy Agnew (Joseph) and Garry Sly (Alexis Phillips). Also survived by 5 grandchildren Gabriel (Angela), Jonathan (Hannah), Catherine, Maya, Elijah,  great-grandson Caleb, sister Edna Mulvihill (Pat) and brother-in-law Glenn Somerville (Leslie). Predeceased by a brother Harry (Brenda McIntyre).  Friends / Family may call at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, Saturday January 18, 2025 from  11am – 1pm. Service in Grace United Church Cobden at 2pm.  Spring interment Cobden Union Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to  Grace United Church Memorial Fund or Bonnechere Manor Foundation would be appreciated. 

                            Through all the storms of life a sturdy hand to hold on to when times are good or bad. One of the greatest blessings to us was the man that we call “Dad”
