It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of the Jeffery matriarch, Mary Jeffery of Cobden, ON who passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 4, 2023 in the Bonnechere Manor at the age of 90 years. Mary Jeffery (nee Johnston) beloved wife of the late Ellwood Jeffery (1988). Devoted mother to Maureen, Brent (Yvon) and honorary son Gord (Heather). Sister in-law and great friend to Madeline. Also survived by 8 grandchildren Terri-Anne (Philippe), Colleen (Kyle), Andrew (Tanya), Sara, Scott, Maryse, Mylaine, Rory (Nicole) and 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by sons Glenn (1984), Gary (2019) and Lyle (2022). A private family graveside service will be held in the Cobden Union Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dementia Society of Renfrew County or Bonnechere Manor Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The family wish to express our sincere gratitude to the staff of the Bonnechere Manor for their loving care and kindness of our beloved mother. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Fraser-Morris and Huebner Funeral Home Cobden.
