It is with sadness we announce the sudden peaceful passing of  Lorayne Cahill of RR5 Cobden, who passed away in the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Friday February 24, 2023 at the age of 76 years. Lorayne Cahill nee Legris beloved wife of Brian Cahill.  Dear mother of Shawn Cahill (Cindy Mick), Kevin Cahill, Chris Cahill (Shannon Roger), Mary (Blake McCaw). Also survived by 7 grandchildren Lily, Liam, Jackson, Ryan, Daylin, Bella, Connor and brothers Harry Legris (Marion), Patrick Legris (Margaret), sisters Peg Legris, Mary Lamb (Kevin) and sisters-in -law Kathleen Shields (Emmett), Catherine Enright (Harry), Noreen Cahill (late Lawrence). Predeceased by a brother-in-law Kevin Cahill. She took great joy in hosting family and friends; particularly lighting up when surrounded by her grandchildren. She was a true model of how to be a great friend and neighbor. When you entered her home you were welcomed. She always had time for a chat and baked goods to offer. You were made to feel like the most important person while you were in her presence. A gift experienced by those who knew her.  Friends may call at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, on Monday February 27, 2023 from 2pm until 5pm, Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Pius V Roman Catholic Church Osceola Wednesday at 11am. Spring interment St. Pius V Cemetery Osceola. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Cobden and District Food Bank, or Hospice Renfrew would be appreciated.
