LOIS  THEDA  DOUGHERTY

It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of  Lois Dougherty of Westmeath Ontario, who passed away peacefully at her residence, on Monday February 5, 2024 at the age of 93 years. Lois Dougherty nee McLaughlin beloved wife of the late Lyle Dougherty. Dear mother of  Douglas (Ellan) Dougherty, Shirley (Raymond Kennedy) and Sheldon Dougherty (Rona-Lee McCrea). Also survived by grandchildren Christopher Dougherty (Laura Parks), Anne (Brooks Prieur), David Dougherty (Terry Lynn Becker), Wendy (Jeff Deveaux), Allan (Heather) Kennedy and great-grandchildren Megan, Evan, Olivia,  Brooklyn, Brady, Shannon, Devon (Josee), Hunter Dougherty, Ethan, Evan Deveaux, Lyle   Kennedy; and also Shannon Nagora, Sarah Vereyken and Sam McCrea and their families.   Predeceased by sisters  Myrna (Bill Anderson), Elva (Mac Coughlin), Dorothy (late Gordon MacGregor) and by a brother Marvin (Eleanor McLaughlin), and a grandson Steven Dougherty.  A Graveside Service will held in Beachburg Union Cemetery in the Spring. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Beachburg Union Cemetery or St. Andrew’s United Church are appreciated.  Arrangements entrusted to the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden.
