LEONARD  ADAM  MATTHEW  CHIPPIOR

It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Leonard Chippior of Renfrew and formerly of RR4 Cobden in Hospice Renfrew, on Tuesday December 14, 2021 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of 63 years to Leona Chippior, nee Recoskie . Cherished father of Wally (Sandra),  Joanne (Garland Wong) and Lori (Todd Drent). Grandfather to Meg (Jeff),  Jason (Elsa), Riley (Katarina), Dayna, Rebecca (Tom) and Natalie (Casey) and Great-Grandfather to Silas, Calvin, Violet and Hanna. Predeceased by 5 sisters and 4 brothers.  Leonard loved his farming, fishing, woodworking, and his community. His favourite pastime was playing cards, and he was willing to have a game of cards with family or friends anywhere, anytime.A special thank you to Dr. DiPaolo, Morgan and the Homecare Team, and Hospice Renfrew, for taking such good care of Leonard.    Friends / Family may call at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home, Cobden, on Friday, December 17th  from 2 – 5 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Pius V Roman Catholic Church, Osceola, on Saturday December 18th at 11:00 am.  Spring interment St. Pius Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy donations to Hospice Renfrew or The Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.

DUE TO THE CURRENT RESTRICTIONS OF COVID-19 MANDATES, A LIMITED NUMBER OF PEOPLE, ARE PERMITTED IN THE FUNERAL HOME  AT ANY GIVEN TIME.  FACKMASKS / COVERINGS / SOCIAL DISTANCING, ARE REQUIRED IN THE FUNERAL HOME, FOR THE VISITATION / FUNERAL MASS.
