Lee Harry Osborne

July 25, 1946 ~ July 6, 2023 (age 76) 76 Years Old

Lee Osborne July 1946 - July 2023

Today we lost our confidante, fishing buddy, deer hunter, lunch date, dad, grandpa and hero.  We are heartbroken to have to say goodbye, but we are settled knowing he will be with mom again.  Over the years he guided us with his wisdom and wit. Right until the end, he was telling us what our next steps should be.  Chris and I used to be his greatest accomplishments, then we married Bruce and Les who helped create his most favourite people: Brad, Moira, Owen and Lia. Dad was very comforted to know that Brad and Moira have found special people to add to our family tree and he adored Riley and Alex like they were his own grandchildren.  He is survived by his siblings Velma (Ken Taylor), Donnie (Minerva),  and Helen (Leighton Cunningham) and each of them were able to spend time with him up until the end.  The Robinson clan held a special spot in dad’s heart and they played a big part in many of the stories we shared the last few days. Dad loved all of his nieces and nephews, especially building memories at Garden Lake. He was most excited that this year he got to meet his great great niece who is sixth generation at the lake.  We can't thank the staff at RVH enough. You were amazing and made our dad feel respected and special.  You went over and above to make sure that we felt welcomed and even when we were crowded in, your patience never wavered.  Dad will be cremated and he and mom will be laid to rest together. He made it very clear that we do not have a formal celebration, but rather raise our glasses and celebrate his wonderful life in our own special way.   We wish to thank the Fraser-Morris & Heubner Funeral Home for taking care of the arrangements and guiding us through this time.
