BOYCE JOYCE (nee Hawkins)
A cherished retired teacher who enriched the lives of new Canadians learning English for over 30+ years at Cambridge and Glashan PS. Joyce Boyce (nee Hawkins), of Ottawa, passed away peacefully in hospital on Thursday August 29, 2019 in her 85th year. Joyce Boyce, beloved wife of the late Gerald (Chubby) Boyce was survived by her children Melanie Boyce and James Boyce, her grandson Jefferey Boyce, her twin sister Lois Tabbert (Gerald) and many nieces, nephews & friends. Predeceased by brothers Gerald and Garnet (late Agnes) Hawkins. Family and friends may call at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home in Cobden on Tuesday Septmber 3, 2019 from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday at 11am with interment to follow.
