It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of  James (Jim) Kohlsmith of Petawawa, who passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday February 1, 2023 at the age of 78 years. Jim Kohlsmith beloved husband of Faye Kohlsmith nee Oattes. Dear father of  Rick (Christine) Kohlsmith and Stephanie Kohlsmith (Rickey Hebert). Also survived by 3 grandsons Todd, Cody, Riley and 3 great-grandchildren Ella, Alaina, Declan and siblings Velma Desjardins, William (Judy) Kohlsmith, Larry (Kathy) Kohlsmith and sisters-in-law Carol Kohlsmith ( late Donald ), Shirley (Ron) Kasaboski and several nieces / nephews.  Friends / Family are invited to the Cobden Agricultural Hall on Friday February 10, 2023 for service at 11am. Followed by a reception from noon until 2:30pm. Spring interment Cobden Union Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated
