It is with sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved father, in the presence of his family, who passed away in the Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Tuesday January 20, 2026 in his 94th year.  Jack McLaren of Cobden, beloved husband of the late Janice McLaren nee Orr.  Dear father of  Don (Deb) McLaren, Wayne (Lise) McLaren, Lyle (Charlene) McLaren, Judi McLaren (Dan Ziniuk).  Loving grandpa / bop to Jaret (Pam), Carlissa (Chris), Nathan (Tamara), Esten (Maddy) and great-grandchildren Brady, Aubree, Bryce, Callan, Caide, Jamieson, Emmeline and Reef. Also survived by sisters-in-law  Marian Warren (late Alton),  Carol Leach (late Kevin). Predeceased by brother-in-law  Hugh Orr (Joyce) and sister-in-law Lynne Helferty (Don).  Friends may call at the Cobden Ag. Hall on Sunday January 25, 2026 from 1pm until service time in the Ag. Hall at 2:30pm. A light luncheon will be held following the Funeral Service from 3-4pm. Spring interment Cobden Union Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Cobden Food Bank would be appreciated.  The Family would like to thank Drs.
