It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Brian Cahill of RR5 Cobden, who passed away in Hospice Renfrew, on Wednesday February 19, 2025 at the age of 78 years. Brian Cahill
beloved husband of the late Lorayne Cahill nee Legris. Dear father of Shawn Cahill (Cindy), Kevin Cahill, Chris Cahill (Shannon), Mary (Blake) McCaw. Also survived by 7 grandchildren Lily, Liam, Jackson, Ryan, Daylin, Bella, Connor and sisters Kathleen Shields (late Emmett), Catherine Enright (late Harry), Marion (Harry Legris), sisters and brothers-in-law Noreen Cahill (late Lawrence), Patrick Legris (Margaret), Peg Legris, Mary Lamb (Kevin), Predeceased by a brother Kevin Cahill. He cherished time with his family, and particularly lit up when around his grandchildren. He was known for his great sense of humour, and enjoyed joking with and teasing those he loved. Friends may call at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, on Friday February 21, 2025 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Pius V Roman Catholic Church Osceola Saturday at 11am. Spring interment St. Pius V Cemetery Osceola. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Cobden and District Food Bank, or Hospice Renfrew would be appreciated.
