INGRID ILONA ROY

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Ingrid Roy of Pembroke, who passed away peacefully in Marianhill Hospice on Friday September 20, 2024 in her 77th year. Ingrid Roy nee Soini beloved spouse and best friend of Bruce McGuire. Daughter of the late Eino and Maire Soini nee Mannonen. Dear sister of Pauline Gemus (Cyril). Also survived by nephews Donald Gemus, Edmond Gemus (Denise Vanderpool)., and great-nephews Jordon and Jonathan. Predeceased by her son Michael Roy.  Friends / Family may call at the Fraser-Morris & Heubner Funeral Home Cobden on Saturday October 5, 2024 from 10am until service time in the chapel at 11:30 am.  As expressions of sympathy donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
