Inge Margrethe (Rasmussen) Vibe

INGE MARGRETHE VIBE

Our beloved mother, Inge Margrethe Vibe (Rasmussen), entered into God’s kingdom on Monday, June 22, 2026, at the age of 89 years. Inge was born to Hagbardt and Elinor Rasmussen on September 17, 1936. She spent early years in Montreal with her three brothers, John, Flemming and David, until she graduated from the Montreal General Hospital School of Nursing in 1957. Inge joins her beloved husband of 62 years, Rev. Harry Vibe and brothers, John and David in Heaven. Inge is survived by her children, Kevin and Marilyn (Dittburner), Kari and Grant Laferriere, Kristopher and Santhy (Kaiser) and Kirsten and Ron Laferriere;  6 grandchildren, Kyle (Hailey), Kayla (Brendan), Tessa (Jordan), Zachariah, Paul (Rachel), Joshua (Samid),  10 great grandchildren, Sophia, Natalie, Logan, Leah, Jack, Bennett, Kinza, Brinley, Bella and Remi and many loving family members and friends She loved the church and her love of music kept her singing in the church and community choirs or playing the organ at the various churches they served across Canada. Inge will be deeply and forever missed, cherished and loved.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 11:00 at St James Lutheran Church in Renfrew. Interment Rosebank Cemetery. If desired, donations to St James Lutheran Church or Canadian Lutheran World Relief would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden.
