Heather Jack Obituary

HEATHER  DAWN JACK   RPN

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Heather Jack of Haley Station,  Heather passed away peacefully with her family by her side,  in the Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Monday February 1, 2021, at the age of 73 years. Heather Jack, nee Murray, cherished wife of Brian Jack.  Loving mother of Tracey (Martin Wee), and Wesley Jack. Adoring Nana to Jordan, Nathan, Elliott, Jessie, Danika and Charlotte. Also survived by siblings Jim Murray, Jackie (Stewart Hanna), Eric (Meta) Murray and sister-in-law Ruth Jack (late Dale). Heather loved life and was much stronger and more resilient than the package she presented. Heather loved to laugh. She loved a good joke and even loved her fair share of  a few bad ones. She was a very generous person who took great pleasure in the simple things. Heather lived for being a grandmother. Her six grandchildren were the light of her life and she loved them with all her heart. She took great joy in their successes, no matter how small and shared in their sadness when they were upset and disappointed. She loved being around them and cherished all of their cuddles.  The love Heather had for Brian was immeasurable. He was her sweetheart and the love of her life. One of the things she said she missed the most after she became sick, was not being able to dance with him. It was something she truly loved to do. Heather’s children Wesley and Tracey, consider themselves blessed to have had her as their Mom. Her love for them was immense and her support unconditional. They could not have asked for a better Mom. Brian, Tracey and Wesley would like to thank the many friends and family members who took the time to reach out to Heather before she passed and to thank those who helped to make her life richer these last few years. And a special thank you to Dr. Scott Laurie and Dr. Robert MacRae at the Ottawa Cancer Centre and the wonderful doctors and nurses at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital, whose care has been exceptional.  As expressions of sympathy donations to The Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Heather would be greatly appreciated.  Arrangements entrusted to the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden.
