EVANS ( MICK )  ROONEY

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Mick Rooney of Cobden, who passed away in the Pembroke Regional Hospital, on Tuesday April 19, 2022 in his 84th year. Mick Rooney beloved husband of Nell Rooney nee Van Leyen. Dear father of  Mitchell (Wendy ) Rooney, Scott (Tamara) Rooney, Shannon Rooney – Peck (Leroy) and Abbey Rooney. Also survived by 4 grandchildren Tyler, Crystal, Jada, Cooper and 1 great-granddaughter Addilynn, 1 brother Lawson Rooney and 1 brother-in-law Ted Van Leyen, and a special feline companion Sammy. Friends / Family may call at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home, Cobden, on Saturday April 23, 2022  from 2 – 4 and 7 - 9 pm.
