It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Ted Barron of Cobden, who passed away in the Queensway – Carleton Hospital Ottawa, on Thursday February 3, 2022 in his 80th year. Ted Barron beloved husband of Daphne Barron nee Gutz. Dear father of Chris (Diane) Barron and Julie (Mike Hennessy). Loving and proud grandpa to Riley (Morgan), Alexandra (Brandon), Brendan (Keely), Macauley and Emily. Also survived by siblings Robert (Donna) Barron, David (late Irene) Barron, Linda Wilkinson, sister-in-law Barb (Harry Sparling) and brother-in-law Murray Gutz. Predeceased by a son Robbie parents Charles and Doreen Barron nee Peever, siblings Graham (Lois) McLeod, Donald (Peggy) McLeod, and Margaret (Dave) Stewart. A Graveside / Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden.
