It is with sadness we announce the passing of  our mother Joan Buttle nee Weir in the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus, on Thursday June 11, 2026 at the age of 95 years. Joan Buttle of Cobden beloved wife of the late Les Buttle and by first marriage to the late Ron Stewart.  Dear mother of  Mike (Lane) Stewart, Peter (Marilyn) Stewart and Janice McIlquham (late Brad).  Also survived by 4 grandchildren Ben (Kellie), Megan, Kyla, Chase (Alyssa), and 1 great-granddaughter Norah. Predeceased by 2 sisters Edna Adams and Frances Berry.  Friends may call at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, Thursday June 18, 2026 from 7 – 9pm. and Friday from 9:30 until service time in the Chapel at  11:00.  Interment Cobden Union Cemetery Cobden Ontario.
