ALLEN  ARNOLD  DICK

 ( Former owner Cobden Freshmart  )     May 30, 1945 – December 27, 2023

It is with profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved dad, Allen Dick of Cobden, who passed away on Wednesday December 27, 2023 in Hospice Renfrew, next door to his birth place Renfrew Victoria Hospital. Son of the late Arnold & Burrell (Brisco) Dick. Loving and kind husband of 55 years to Florence Dick  (McDonald). Proud & Loving father to Trevor (Trina) Dick, Blair Dick, Andrea (Barry McIntyre) and Curtis (Tonya) Dick. Much loved grandpa to and he gave much love to his grandchildren, Emily (Jordan), Lauren (Nolan), Matthew, Hilary (Tyson), Andrew (Becky), Sarah, Jason, Lachlan, Scotlyn, Caithness. Dear brother of  Barbara (Tom Childerhose), Mary (Mike Etmanski) and sisters-in-law Elsie Larone, Anne Mary (late Ross McDonald).  Nephew of Al (Betty) Brisco. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Allen was a proud mentor & friend to Randy Shellhorn.  Friends and Family may call at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Cobden on Saturday December 30, 2023 from 11am until service in the Church at 1 pm.  Spring interment Cobden Union Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden. As expressions of sympathy donations to Cobden Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, Cobden Civitan Club or Hospice Renfrew would be appreciated.
