It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ellard Ross of Cobden who passed away peacefully in the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus on Sunday March 10, 2019 in his 87th year. Ellard Ross beloved husband of Ruby Bennett nee Johnston and by first marriage to the late Elsie Pettigrew. Dear father of Dan (Ruth) Ross, Donna (Roger Schultz), and stepfather of Earl (Fay) Bennett, Elizabeth (Kevin Pilgrim), Lianne (Ernie Wilson), and Wayne (Laura) Bennett. Also survived by 5 grandchildren Jonathan, Justin (Virginia), David, Dana (Jon), Amy (Mark), 2 great-grandchildren Ila, David and 1 brother Don Ross. Friends may call at the Fraser – Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, on Wednesday March 13, 2019 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. and Thursday from 12:30 until 1:30pm. Thence to the Whitewater Wesleyan Community Church Cobden, for service at 2 pm. Spring interment Howard Cemetery Foresters Falls.  As expressions of sympathy donations to the Whitewater Wesleyan Community Church Memorial Fund or the cancer society would be appreciated.
