MAINS EDNA  A.

Of Cobden, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2017 in her 85th year. Edna Mains, nee Hanna, beloved wife of John Mains and dear mother of Jeff Mains (Debra Beauregard).  Edna will be fondly remembered by friends and family for her sense of humour and sharp wit.  She is survived by a brother Percy (Georgina) Hanna, brothers-in-law John Boyd (Gloria Mick), and Henry (Carol) Mains, sisters-in-law Anne (the late John) Tubman, Reba (Glen) Featherstone, and many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents Robert and Margaret Hanna, siblings Lois (George) Routledge, Douglas (Christine) Hanna, Robert (Grace) Hanna, John (Shirley) Hanna, Edith (Jack) Brez, Ina (Murray) MacMillan, Gordie (Elsie) Hanna, Nancy Boyd, and brother-in-law Melvin Mains. Friends may call at the Cobden Agricultural Hall at 43 Astrolabe Road, Cobden, this Saturday September 2, 2017 from 11am until 1pm.  Service will be in the Cobden Agricultural Hall at 2pm followed by a reception.  Private interment at a later date.  If you wish to make a memorial donation, for your consideration you may choose the Cobden Civitan Medical Bank, P.O.
