Our family is deeply saddened by the passing of Bert. We will always remember him fondly and feel lucky that we had the pleasure of knowing him. Our family reunions will not be the same without him. He will be missed.

I was so sorry to hear of Bert's passing. I remember fondly spending time at your house while growing up and never remember a time where Bert didn't give me a welcoming smile. Condolences to the entire family. I miss you all!

Bert was one of the kindest people I have ever known. Bert and Doreen lived right beside us in the 60's. Thanks for putting up with us when we went over to watch your TV., hitched a ride to school, etc etc. Dad got the better deal when Bert brought us a gallon of his famous maple syrup in exchange for a gallon of milk-----what a generous man he was. My condolences Doreen, Debbie, Barry, Terry ,Donna and Bev.
