LEON JOSEPH GIROUX

June 24, 1934 – Jan 14, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Leo Joseph Giroux, formerly of the Queen’s Line. Predeceased by his parents Ovila Giroux and Yvonne Corriveau, and his beloved wife Margarita Chapeski-Giroux nee Neville, daughters Catherine Webster, Bernadette Simpson and sons Albert and Christopher Chapeski (Teresa), and several brothers and sisters. Survived by sons Joseph Giroux, Ambrose Chapeski (Diane) and daughters Yvonne Giroux (James Sutcliffe), Patricia Eady. Also survived by brothers Lucien, Adrien (Evelyn), Emilien (Sheila) and sister Elise Castonguay (Wally). Leo was a proud Grandfather, Great-Grandfather and Great-Great Grandfather. A graveside service will take place later in the spring of 2024. Arrangements entrusted to the Fraser – Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden.
