Of  Beachburg,  passed away peacefully in the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Sunday December 7, 2014 in his 89th year. Mervin Black beloved husband of Elaine Black nee Johnson. Dear father of  Blair (Lynn) Black and Dara. Also survived by 7 grandchildren Terri (Jason ); Derek (Natalie); Amanda (Scott); Brigit (Darcy); Jenna, Jaime (Tyler); Cayden and 7 great-grandchildren and 1 brother Ray (Rini) Black.   Predeceased by a son Rodney, 2 sisters Dorothy Sherk, Viola Miller and 2 brothers Stewart and Willard. Friends may call at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden Wednesday December 10, 2014 from 1 – 3pm. Service in the Chapel at 3pm. Spring interment Ross Presbyterian Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to Beachburg  Pentecostal Church  Memorial Fund or Whitewater Bromley Community Heath Centre would be appreciated.
