JOHNSTON  BRIAN

Passed into the presence of his Lord peacefully with family by his side in the Ottawa General Hospital on Thursday January 29, 2015 in his 66th year. Brian Johnston loving brother of Edna Sulpher, Glennis Hartwick, Wayne (Pat), Karen (Neil Prins), Kathy (Dave Daw) and brother-in-law to Isabel Johnston. Also survived by several nieces and  nephews, 2 goddaughters Diana Helferty and Deanna Wallace. Predeceased by his parents Holt and Eva Johnston, brothers Ron and Donald, sister Carol Anne, and brother-in-law Mel Hartwick. He will be missed by his beloved dog Taz. Brian was blessed with wonderful friends especially Bob Helferty, Florrie and Terry Gilmore whose visits made his courageous fight against leukemia much easier. Friends may call at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, Tuesday February 3, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Service in the Whitewater Wesleyan Community Church Wednesday at 11am. Donations to the Whitewater Wesleyan Community Church Memorial Fund or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
